Abstract :Due to the relatively uneven distribution of water resources across the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the fact that the irrigated lands have a complex (low-high) relief, water is supplied to more than 55 percent of the irrigated lands with the help of 1687 pumping stations at the expense of the system organizations of the Ministry of Water Economy, and their annual electricity consumption is on average 8 billion is kWh. With this in mind, special attention is always paid to saving electricity at pumping stations. The article deals with saving electricity at pumping stations, including the dependence on saving electricity at the pump when replacing old pumps with new ones.
